Although manure from pigs and cattle is still considered waste, it is profitable to incinerate digestate (a by-product of anaerobic digestion). Often, farmers pay to dispose of their residues, even though these have a high energy content. Together with a German machinery manufacturer, we have developed an incinerator for agricultural residues such as manure, vegetable waste, and digestate.
Our processing line at farm scale uses the released energy to heat barns, greenhouses, and other buildings.
