We are pleased to announce that Innovatec Hatchery Automation has expanded its portfolio with Poultry Euthanasia Systems (PES), formerly owned by the Noord-Amsterdamse Machinefabriek (NAM).
Paul de Schouwer, CEO of Innovatec, says: “Animal welfare is one of the focus areas of Innovatec. These euthanasia systems are complementary to Innovatec’s portfolio and enable our customers to euthanize small poultry in the most humane way. As of today these machines will be produced and sold by Innovatec. Technical support will be provided by Innovatec’s service department, supported by the technical engineers of the NAM who have gained many years of knowledge and experience with these machines. These systems are unique and fully in line with Innovatec’s philosophy”.
Werner Nawijn, director of NAM, completes with the words: “At NAM we want to focus more on our core activities. In Innovatec we have found a good partner for continuity of our PES machines; They fit perfect with the other hatchery automation Innovatec is producing.”
