Kamplan B.V. has been active in developing and installing new slurry feed installations for over 30 years. The current slurry feed installations are the result of years of development and innovation. Quality and durability are the two most important aspects of our installations. For example, the stainless steel tanks that we supplied 30 years ago are still in use by our customers. Mixing the various products into a homogeneous mixture is an important aspect of a slurry feed installation.
A good homogeneous product promotes the feed intake by the pig and reduces the chance of malfunctions due to poor mixing. Kamplan uses square stainless steel mixing tanks, equipped with baffles for optimal mixing. In addition, the mixing tank is tapered so that the tank can be emptied optimally. Cleaning the mixing tanks is also a focus for us and we work with spray installations equipped with high-quality spray components with a large range. Our mixing tanks are equipped with a mixing device with a high and a low speed. Depending on the contents of the mixing tank and the product to be processed, the number and type of mixer is determined and mounted at the correct height for optimal mixing, resulting in perfect dosing.
