VIM is a practical tool that specialists use to develop a strategy together with clients, resulting in optimal and predictable feed conversion. The model incorporates factors such as breed, sex, body weight/growth, feed allowance, energy, and digestible lysine to determine predictability. We’ve been using the model in practice since December 2017, but we’ve continued to develop and refine it over time.
