Dutch Pork & Poultry Expo 2024 visited by over 4,600 professionals
On October 16 and 17, more than 4,600 professionals from the pig and poultry sector visited the Evenementenhal in Hardenberg. During the expo, attendees could participate in various symposiums and knowledge sessions. The first day focused on the energy transition in agriculture, featuring valuable insights from speakers from Kiwatt and Energie+dak. On October 17, the theme was animal health, with expert contributions from Hipra and Animal Health Group.
The Innovation Awards were presented on the first day of the expo. In the Poultry category, Plettenburg Luchtbehandeling & Ventilatie won with their Biofilter, ensuring effective air purification in poultry houses. In the Pig category, the award went to Natuurlijk Daglicht for their TS 750 High Spherical Diffuser, which optimizes natural daylight in barns.
On the second day, Member of the European Parliament Jessika van Leeuwen visited the expo and engaged with attendees about the latest developments in the pig and poultry sector.
