The MultiFarrow farrowing crate system: This farrowing crate can be used as a traditional farrowing crate, free range or as a free range farrowing-rearing crate. (ease of work) • When the sow is in the pen, the side gate on the feeding path side goes down again, creating a safe zone for the piglets and an extra separation between the employee and the free-range sow (safety). • By raising the inner side gate, the sow has a lot of extra freedom of movement in the farrowing crate. MultiFarrow Family: In addition to our MultiFarrow farrowing pen, we also have a group housing system for the farrowing sows with piglets. We call this free-range system MultiFarrow Family, With this system, each sow has her own farrowing pen where she can isolate herself to eat, drink and rest. In the middle of the department is a slatted floor where the sows and piglets can stay together.
